Let's Be On Time This Year!! ¡Seamos puntual este año!

Show and Tell!!
Show and Tell will be held every Friday. It is a great way to build language skills and have fun. Discussing the show and tell item with your child the night before will help generate language. If your child forgets his or her Show and Tell item, he or she may simply pick one of his or her favorite toys in the class to talk about.
Letter Box!!
Our class has a letter of the week which is appropriate to our topic of the week. One day, Monday thru Thursday, Your child will bring home the bright green box. With your child, please find 3 items at home that begin with the letter of the week. We will share the items during morning circle time. Your items will be placed in your child’s book bag and sent home the same day.
For Example: Letter of the week is Aa
You might send in an apple, April page from a calendar, and a toy, a picture, or a book on Ants.

The Literacy Bag
Each week one student will bring the Literacy Bag and Winnie the Pooh home for the weekend. Please share the stories provided with your child and work on the activity sheets together. Pooh is invited to accompany your child on all of his or her weekend activities. Take Pooh along to the grocery store, birthday parties, or simply visiting relatives. Finally, write down your child’s weekend adventure with Pooh in the Pooh journal. We will read the adventure on Monday morning
during circle time. This is a fun way to promote language development and good reading habits.
Have a great weekend!
