Greetings Students and Parents,

We are enthusiastic about welcoming you to another school year. We declare that the 2010-2011 school year will be a year of manifested excellence. We have laid the groundwork for higher levels of student success in the area of academics, the arts, and athletics. We have improved academics as measured by standardized assessments. We have made history with the winning of the boys’ and girls’ basketball state championships. We have demonstrated that our students are talented with the production of Dreamgirls, the Musical. Now, we are ready to demonstrate to our community and state that we have the desire and the potential to be the highest performing school in DeKalb County and the state of Georgia. This year, we expect our students to excel to new heights and to soar well above the clouds as eagles. We expect to see our students soar above all challenges to find the sunlight of a bright future, renewed hope, and opportunities.  We expect to see manifested EXCELLENCE.

Sincerely,
