The Wrestling Club is for middle school and elementary school students who want to wrestle, and for high school wrestlers who want to wrestle during the school year before or after the high school wrestling season.
Red Devil Wrestling Club
The Red Devils Wrestling Club is a charter club of Team Georgia Wrestling, which is the state level representative of USA Wrestling. USA Wrestling is the organization that fields the U.S.A. Olympic Freestyle team. The Red Devils Club will practice folk style (high school), free style and Greco Roman wrestling. Weekend competitions are optional (and usually cost $15). Wrestlers are encouraged to qualify for and wrestle at the Georgia Games, the Georgia Summer Folk Style Championships and the Georgia Free Style and Greco State Championships.
Instructor: Pallowes Belete is a recent graduate from Tucker High School, a Georgia State Wrestling Champion, and a three time Dekalb County Varsity Wrestling Champion. Coach West will be present to open up the wrestling area but is not allowed to run practice due to Georgia High School Association rules. High school coaches are not permitted to work with more than 2 student athletes at a time during the off season until the school year is over.
Membership Requirements:
1) Student in good standing at Shamrock Middle School or Druid Hills High School.
2) USA Wrestling Membership Card through Team Georgia, $35 - You must have this Card in order to practice and compete! The money is paid via your online registration process by credit card at (Directions are at end of this packet). You must print out your card.
3) Red Devil Club membership of $25 payable to Druid Hills Athletic Foundation.
Practice dates, times and location: Tuesday and Thursdays after school at Shamrock Middle School for approximately 1˝ hours. Summer hours are Tuesday and Thursday 3:00-5:00pm.

How to get a USA Wrestling Membership Card (MANDATORY)

1. You must have a valid email address.
2. Go to the above web page and check the “New Athlete Membership Registration ($35).
3. Then click the “Continue to Purchase USAW Membership Card” on bottom of page.
4. Fill in the information correctly, especially your email address.
5. Choose “Red Devil Wrestling Club”.
6. Read the release and waiver of liability information and check the “I acknowledge …” box.
7. Then click the “Purchase USAW Membership Card”.
8. Have your credit card ready ($35).
9. PRINT OUT your membership card.
How to register for Tournaments (Optional)

First you will need to register. You only have to register once.
1. Go to the above web page and on the left click on “New Register! Click Here”.
2. Use your email address and choose a TeamGA password.
3. Check your email for a confirmation message and follow the steps (may take 10 minutes to get message).
4. After you have followed the steps to activate your account you should be logged in.
5. Then web page should have “Team Georgia USA” on top and directly below should be the “home” tab.
6. Click on “Add A Wrestler”, then type in your name and add yourself to your account.
7. You are now ready to register your wrestler for tournaments.
Signing up for individual tournaments:
After registration you can log in using your email address and TeamGA password.
1. From the home tab, select an upcoming tournament.
2. Click on your wrestler's name.
3. Select a weight class under Reg Weight and their current weight under Approx Weight.
4. Process Registration.
5. Pay for registration; the cost for most tournaments is $15 (with credit card).
6. Print out your e_ticket to present when you attend the tournament.
