Reading
Third grade is an exciting year for reading! Accelerated Reading continues to be a big part of the reading experience at Kingsley. Students will take AR tests each week. You can check your child's AR test results on the Kingsley website. Just go to the Media Center and click on Home Connect. Your child's first initial plus the first four letters in the last name are the user id. Their password is their lunch number. This will give you their current AR percent to goal. It is helpful if you motivate your child through the year by checking this website. It also lists all the books your child has read with scores from their AR tests. It's a great way to show your child you appreciate all the hard work they have done!
Please be sure your child reads 30 minutes each night.
