Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year!!  I am the counselor here at Kingsley Charter School.  This is my 8th year in counseling.   I work with the students in many different ways.  I do classroom guidance, work with students in small groups & individually, mentoring, coordinate Red Ribbon Week, SST Chair, Homework Helpers, Career Day, Student of the Month, Chick-fil-a Core Essentials Program, Bucket Fillers Program, attendance & much more.  Please feel free to contact me if there is any way that I can be of assistance to you and your child.  I look forward to working with your children!

Small Groups

Small Group Guidance is used to help students achieve success both at school and at home. With the increasing importance of accountability, academic achievement and testing I believe that small group attention can play a critical role in individual student improvement. Small groups usually consist of 4-6 students and meet with me once a week, 4-5 times.

Classroom Guidance

When I go into the classroom I work on topics that the teacher would like (or feels is needed) to be discussed in their classroom (ie. study skills, respect, etc). Each month different grade levels will have guidance (i.e. Sept. 1st & 2nd). I will being classromm guidance in September.
