Promethean Whiteboards are a big initiative for DeKalb County. All of our schools received the boards, and the teachers were trained to use the boards. The boards are a fantastic interactive tool to use in the classroom. The teachers in our schools also have access to the ACTIVslates, ACTIVotes, and ACTIVexpressions to further assist in student and teachers interaction with technology. In addition, there are many resources for teachers to access in order to make teaching with the boards easy and exciting.
Promethean Planet is a free website in which teachers can access free flipcharts, resource packs, weblinks, and themes. Teachers can also submit flipcharts to this website. Teachers must create an account in order to access the resources.
Atomic learning offers free tutorials on the use of the some of the ACTIVstudio tools.
