LESSON PLANS
Objective: Students will demonstrate an understanding of the basic fundamentals of music theory as well as proper embouchure and breathing technique when producing a tone on their respected instrument
Content: Musical instrument, band method books and/or selected music.
Procedure: 1. Review playing position, rest position, and technique for moving between the two.
2. Warm up on long tones, flexibility and articulation exercises, scales and a chorale.
3. Play exercises in method book.
4. Play Music.

Objective: Students will demonstrate an understanding of the basic fundamentals of music theory as well as proper grip and sticking technique when producing a tone on their respected instrument
Content: Musical instrument, band method books and/or selected music.
Procedure: 1. Review playing position, rest position, and technique for moving between the two.
2. Warm up on long roll exercises, flexibility exercises, scales
and rudiments
3. Play exercises in method book.
4. Play Music.
